EUROPEAN NETWORKS FOR TERRITORIAL COOPERATION
In a context of European construction, the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation Eurocity Chaves-Verín, since its establishment in 2013, has been part of several European institutional cooperation networks, whose main objective is to build a cohesive Europe and work together on common issues and problems.

Iberian Network of Cross-border Entities (RIET)
Cross-border association of territorial cooperation made up of local organizations, from the border of Spain and Portugal, under the Valencia Treaty, that develop their work, generic or specific, in the area of cross-border cooperation.

Galicia-Northern Portugal Working Community
Created in 1991 by the Regional Government of Galicia and the North Regional Coordination and Development Commission to take better advantage of the joint potential of the two regions, the CTGNP has coordinated initiatives and developed cross-border cooperation projects with tangible results in terms of infrastructure, equipment, but also around projects and initiatives linked to research, environmental protection or even social and institutional integration.
